Nebraska Methodist College, located in Omaha, Nebraska, offers a Phlebotomy Certificate Program. This program will prepare students to collect blood samples for study and diagnosis. Nebraska Methodist College offers an accelerated curriculum that can be completed in 5 weeks and a traditional program that can be completed in 9 weeks. Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences at both campus laboratories and actual clinical laboratories in hospitals. This program costs $875.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be eligible to sit for the American Society of Clinical Pathologist certification examination to gain certification as a Phlebotomy Technician.

To be eligible for the Phlebotomy program, individuals must have a high school diploma or GED, a GPA of 2.0, good health and good written and verbal communication skills.
