The Basic Phlebotomy course meets from 10:30am – 11:50am on Monday and Wednesday for ten week. The Phlebotomy Lab course meets from 1pm – 4pm on Thursdays for ten weeks. During these phases students will gain training in areas such as infection control and safety, anatomy and physiology, quality assurance and communication skills and professional behavior.
Once students have completed the classroom and lab components of this program they will begin a phlebotomist clinical. This clinical will allow students to put theory into practice.
